Angel Falls – Canaima or Salto Angel – Canaima is one of the iconic landscapes of Venezuela, located in the south of Venezuela in an area known as “El Maziso Guayanes”. Angel Falls is the “Tepuy” with the highest waterfall in the world.

Carlos Apitz visited this place in 1985 and remembers the visual impact it had on him. He painted this landscape using the typical colors of his country in a version that reflected his vision.
