José Gregorio Hernández, Venezuelan tricolor pop art on canvas, is an original work by Carlos Apitz, created in 2016. It is one of the most representative paintings of this graphic artist’s work. Based on the famous photograph by José Gregorio Hernández, Apitz recreated this image using conventional and digital drawing techniques, using cultural elements of Venezuela (image of the Saint, Tricolor, synthetic art, stars, etc.). It is one of the works that has received countless positive reviews for its originality.
