«Barquisimeto» is a printed reproduction on canvas of an original painting by Carlos Apitz with the same name. Each impression is intervened manually; there are never two exactly alike. The graphic elements, lines as well as other elements are placed by hand in each piece, to later be varnished, which gives protection and enhances all the colours.
It is printed in two sizes 16 x 40 inches, 20 x 60 inches, and 17.5x6inches, which are hand-painted.

About the style
Carlos Apitz uses in many of his creations of cities or places, whether they are characters, nature, or monuments of architecture.
In Barquisimeto (Capital of Edo. Lara in Venezuela), he combines digital and vectorial painting with a free intervention of each printed work, which makes each reproduction a piece with differences from others of the same edition. This work is made for a horizontal or elongated canvas.
